In these events competitors earn points for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, these points go towards the end of year total, for the annual prize giving.

The fishing section holds a number of events throughout the year, the dates do vary but there is always information on the notice board a couple of weeks leading up to an event, alternatively our website Fishing News or Events Calendar will have the most up to date information as well.

The Monthly Competition: These comps are usually held in the “Waitemata, Manukau Inner Harbour & Firth Area (Chart 532)” which a variety of species being weighed in.

The day varies month by month.

To enter any of our competitions, it costs only $15.00 for members and $20.00 guests.

There is a cost to become a member of the fishing section, however this is only $10. And every member is given a number eligible for the weekly handles draw on Thursday nights.
